The Thunderbird has been an extremely well received new addition to Innova’s lineup. It was touted as the perfect in between for the ever popular TeeBird and Destroyer molds. The Thunderbird has lived up to those expectations wonderfully! A lot of pro disc golfers use Thunderbirds for many different shots and has become a signature disc for several. It is a very straight flyer and can handle high arm speeds with ease. Now thrown by players like Nate Sexton and Jeremy Koling, The Big Sexy tandem, it is still a highly used disc in the Innova lineup. A hybrid between a fairway and distance driver, this disc gets plenty of distance while having the control of a fairway. It bombs way further than most fairways and is generally more stable than most fairways; while at the same time it is much more controllable than a 12 speed. It is pretty glidey and sits right in between the Teebird or Eagle and the Destroyer. It is a solid disc that many players throw and lots of people bag it.
