OTB Open Proton Reactor – The MVP Disc Sports Reactor is a great feeling disc that looks sick in the Proton plastic from MVP. A somewhat fast feeling mid, it will slot almost in the middle of the MVP lineup. It has enough stability to really have control of where the disc goes. It can be crushed on without fear up turn and burn, it feels great in the hand on both forehand and backhand. The Reactor has become a staple in the bag of many Gyro throwers. This mold helps support the 2023 edition of the OTB Open in our own backyard. Make sure you grab an OTB Open Proton Reactor today!
MVP says this about the run: “High powered players should expect the Reactor to have some subtle, flight-extending turn that doesn’t overpower its natural fade — making the Reactor a dependable, workhorse midrange on every angle of release. The Reactor has just enough fade to shape long turnovers, and the right amount of turn and glide to support laser-like straight shots or hyzer bombs. If you have the power, the Reactor is a surprisingly long flyer too. Lower power players will find the reactor to be an extremely dependable flat-to-fade midrange — one of the most classic and often needed shots in disc golf. The turn, while likely not apparent from a flat release, will show itself when released on anhyzer — yielding a longer s-turn than perhaps expected. From hyzer, the subtle turn of the Reactor will allow it to generate workable hyzers.”
